Meet Angela
Hello and welcome! Angela lives in Wareham on the edge of the isle of Purbecks, the gateway to the Jurassic coast in Dorset. She has a huge passion for cakes, how they taste so that all guests including those with dietary needs can have cake and how creative they can look. Angela strives for for first class client service as the owner, cake artist and designer, Angela ensures your cake is a unique piece of art that expresses you both as individuals and an expression of your love for each other. Angela's aim is to ensure that you enjoy the process of arranging your wedding cake so that on the day you can relax knowing that Angela has designed and created the most amazing, never to be forgotten and Instagram-able wedding cake which will provide all guests with memories to last a lifetime, all through the medium of cake.
It all started with Angela baking birthday cakes for her eldest child who is intolerant to both lactose and soya - 20 years ago this was not easy! When her other 2 children came along the cake requests became more elaborate! Friends and family loved coming to the birthday parties to see the latest creation, knowing that everyone was catered for.
Angela officially opened Mon Bel Amour Cake Craft in April 2017, choosing the name as it translates to 'my beautiful love', which she hopes reflects her love of baking and creating visually stunning and deliciously tasting cakes. She specialises in creating wedding cakes that make a statement and are totally unique to the couple themselves. Creating a design with elegance but a quirky edge, often using colour and challenging gravity is where Angela can shine.
By November 2018, Angela had been shortlisted as a finalist at the Dorset Wedding Supplier Awards.
In 2023 Angela trained as a ceremony officer legally working as a registrar marrying couples in the Purbeck registered venues and is a supporter of marriage for every individual.
Angela has rebranded at the start of 2024 and the new business name is AT Cake Artistry, professional, exemplary attention to detail and client focused.
When Angela is not working you can find her either with her children at the cinema, paddle boarding and enjoying the amazing Dorset beaches. As a family they love to cruise however Angela can be found taking off in her T4 for a night or two camping to recharge her batteries.
