This web site is owned and operated by AT Cake Artistry who are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions or comments or if you need to contact us, please do so using the details below.

Timescale
I will endeavour to de everything I can to accommodate your order however I work to a maximum number of cakes per week and will not compromise quality through greed. Usually 6-12 months' notice for wedding cakes and 4 weeks for celebration cakes is a sufficient, with less notice required during the winter months.
Customer satisfaction guarantee
Should you be unhappy with the cake I will do everything I can to rectify the matter before the event. If you are still unsatisfied then i will refund the cost of my time but not the cost of the materials in return for the cake. If there is a design problem the cake is to be photographed and emailed within 48 hours of the cake being collected or delivered. Situations where the cake is eaten, and therefore not returned, vouchers may be offered. If you have a complaint about the taste of the cake then a sample is to be provided within 24 hours.
Check your Order
While I take every measurement possible to check orders it is also the responsibility of the customer to make sure the details on the order form are accurate. While we will do everything we can to rectify the situation when an error is made i.e. wrong date then the responsibility lies with the customer to check the details.
Quotes
All quotes are correct for the current calendar year. If booking further ahead, all bookings may be subject to increase of UPTO 20% to cover the year on year increase costs of ingredients etc. I do my best to ensure that any increases are as minimal as possible.
Deposits and payments
Once the order is placed a save the date fee is required of £100 this is non transferable and non refundable fee. The order is confirmed on receipt of the fee. No guarantees can be given on availability until the fee is paid.
Balances for wedding cakes are due 28 days before the wedding and for novelty cakes 14 days before the event.
Cancelled orders with less than 60 days notice are payable in full.
Delivery
When a cake is to be delivered it remains the responsibility of the company while in transit. where any damage occurs then it is the sole responsibility of the company to make good any damage. Once the cake is assembled and in the agreed location, photographs will be taken and the responsibility transfers to the venue and customer.
Collection
As you will appreciate, once the cake leaves the studio then the responsibility passes to the customer and the company is not liable for any damage in transit. Please be aware that a flat surface is required to retain the stability of the cake and should be secured where possible to remove the risk of movement in transit. If you are unsure please ask me and I will be happy to advise.
Best before dates
When preparing some cakes, especially larger ones, the cakes need to be in prep for several days before the event. While we do everything to ensure that the cake is as fresh as possible for the event the best before dates are usually within two days of the event. To assist in prolonging the shelf life the cakes are best placed in a sealed container (this will damage a sugar paste finish) in the fridge. We do not accept liability for consumption from two days following the event.
Non-edible decorations
During the design process the customer will be informed of any non-edible decoration that will be used to construct the cake. The customer must relay this information to the venue or hosts.
Liability
We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. Our liability to you shall not in any event include losses related to any business of yours, such as loss of profits or business interruption; neither will we be responsible to you for any other loss which is not a foreseeable consequence of us being in breach of these Terms and Conditions or our legal duties.
Returns policy
AT cake artistry do not accept returns except for in the instance of incorrectly supplied items or damaged items. If this is the case they will be replaced at no extra charge to the Client.
Errors and omissions excepted
Copyright
The design copyright is the property of the company. The customer does not have any claim on the design. The company reserves the eight to use images of any design for promotional purposes following the event.
Government restrictions
Should your wedding be affected specifically by any government restrictions, such as that of Covid-19, I will do all I can to help.
In the event that you are required to postpone your wedding, your booking will be transferred to your new date including all monies psid etc. If your new date remains within the same calendar year as your original date, there will be no price changes to your booking. In the event that you move your date further than this, your booking would be subject to a standard yearly price increase - this covers the minimal year on year increased costs of ingredients. In the unfortunate circumstances that I can not facilitate your new date, any decision to refund any payments made can not be guaranteed, and no refund will be given to weddings cancelled with 28 days notice.
In the event that you cancel your booking completely, any decision to refund a deposit in full or part is made on a booking by booking basis and cannot be guaranteed. For any bookings cancelled with 28 days or less notice, no refund will be given. Any deposit or payments made can not, under any circumstances, can be transferred to another cake or booking.

We do not store any payment card infomation on any of our own servers.
